about Malva Lava
-
Malva Lava is an independent home care service based in Skåne, Sweden. We combine in-person cleaning with an AI chat tool that lets you tell us exactly what your home needs before every visit. We are a small, self-funded company — not a big agency. Right now, we are building this from the ground up.
-
My name is Julieta Talavera. I started Malva Lava because I needed help caring for my own home and could not find a service that felt fair, efficient, and shaped around real life. I have experience in cleaning, design, and motherhood — and I run the work myself. I clean, I test, and I build at the same time.
-
Most cleaning companies operate the same way they did before the internet. There is a digital layer for booking but not for the actual service. Cleaners have to keep information in their heads. Families get a standardized clean, not one shaped around their real needs. We think that is a design problem worth solving.
-
We currently operate in Svedala and surrounding areas in Skåne. This includes Svedala, Malmö, Lund, Trelleborg, Vellinge, Höllviken, Staffanstorp, Bara, Klågerup, Oxie, Genarp, Dalby, Arlöv, Åkarp, Lomma, Burlöv and Skurup.
Travel fees apply depending on distance from Svedala Centrum.
Within 10 km from Svedala Centrum: 50 Kr/per cleaning
10 to 20 km/ per cleaning: 100 Kr/per cleaning

malva lava chat
-
It is the AI-powered tool built into the Malva Lava app. It lets you tell us exactly what you need before every cleaning — specific areas, things to avoid, tasks to prioritize, or anything happening in your home that week. Your instructions go directly to us before we arrive.
-
You open the app, chat with our AI, and describe what you need. The AI asks the right questions and turns your input into a clear task list for your visit. You can do this any time, 24/7.
-
Yes. The chat handles any home care task — laundry, restocking, organizing, plant watering, and more. You pay per hour, so there is no extra charge per task.
-
We will let you know. After each visit the cleaner creates a report with everything that was done. In case there are chores that the cleaner didn’t get to cover, they will let you know through the report.
